| Description | This postcard shows two Nursing Sisters in uniform. The one on the left is Sister Lillian Ross and the one on the right appears also to have the family name Ross. The handwriting on the front appears to read: With Love “Rossi's” It is possible that Lillian Ross may have undertaken her training at the Tannachy Hospital since her name has not been found in Rockhampton Hospital records. Note that at this time, nurses photographs were often shared in a postcard format. These postcards were produced by photographic studios. This one has the watermark “Rockhampton Studios Mt Morgan”. |
