| Description | The photograph was taken at a nurse graduation ceremony at the Rockhampton Hospital ca. 1959. There are no names with the photograph. However, in the front row, 3rd from left, is the Hospital's Medical Superintendent, Dr Grahame B. Cavaye. In the centre is the Matron, Miss Margaret Graham, and and then the Chair of the Rockhampton Hospitals Board, Mr Norman F. Applin. At this time, the Government appointed the local magistrate to chair these Boards which administered local hospitals. |
