| Description | Miss Mary Margaret Carroll completed her general nursing studies at the Rockhampton General Hospital between 16 Mar 1925 and 15 Feb 1929. This photograph shows her in the uniform worn by nursing sisters in hospitals in that era. Mary later completed her midwifery training at the General Hospital between 18 Oct 1931 and 24 Apr 1932. This training woud have been undertaken within the Lady Goodwin Maternity Hospital which was opened in 1930. |
