| Description | The photograph shows medical and nursing staff at the Rockhampton Hospital in 1932. The Matron is Sarah Maud Green. The medical staff at the time were Dr Dallas Walker and Dr H. Leeds. Dr Leeds was in charge of the Lady Goodwin Maternity Hospital which opened in 1930 as part of the Rockhampton Hospital. Sarah Maud Green had been the Matron at the Women’s Hospital which was closed when the Lady Goodwin was opened and she was appointed soon after as the Matron of the whole hospital. |
