There was a list of names accompanying the photograph. Unfortunately, the list for the 3rd and 4th rows are one name short making it difficult to be certain about assignments. The names provided here have been enhanced by adding first names or initials available from records held by the Country Hospital Museum or examination results published in the Morning Bulletin and accessed via Trove. Those present are: Front Row (L to R): Teresa Zanetti; Sr Maida Nichol, Matron Margaret Elizabeth Jones, Dr F. C. Wooster, Sr. L. Reaney, Sr Jessie C. McIndoe, Ruth Lawrence; Second Row: N. Duke, F. O'Donovan, Nita Brown, ? Wilde, A. McLoughlin. Myrtle Jenks, Doreen McGrath, Gertrude Mortensen, Heather Fisher; Third Row: Rebecca York, Ada Malone, Lila Bradford, Unidentified, Hildred Alice Homewood, Clarice Crudgington, L. Kenyon; Fourth Row: Unidentified, L. H. Williamson, M. Graham, M. F. Kirkman, Florence Smith, K. Adams, Margaret McCormack. Both Dr Wooster and Matron Jones had served in World War 1. |
