Description	The photograph shows a group of nurses who graduated from the Rockhampton Hospital in mid-1938. The photograph was accompanied by a list of names which was complete in terms of identifying all nurses but not all first names were given and there were some slight mis-spellings of surnames. This list below has been updated with the aid of Rockhampton Hospital nurse training records held at the Country Hospital Museum. Those present are: Back Row (L to R): Mary Bellert, Pauline Hutchinson, Isabelle McIntyre Smith, Jessie Corrie, Margaret (Peg) Davis, Mona Joyner; Front row (L to R): Eileen McGuane, Margaret Bennett, Kathleen Hoelscher, Marjorie Shelton, Doreen O'Loughlin, May Sloan. On the original list, Phyllis Hoelscher was identified. Howeer, Phyllis only commenced training in 1938 while Kathleen was part of this student group.
