Description | Yvonne Kelley OAM, Archivist at the Country Hospital Museum, stands beside a new TV which has been donated to the Museum by Mrs Cecily Primmer, wife of our former Patron the late Dr Conrad Primmer. The TV will enable the Association ot offer improved slideshows for visitors to the museum. Yvonne Kelley was instrumental in the establishment of the museum, working to make sure that historical items at risk of being lost were donated to the museum for the future benefit to the community. These include the Sandrock Gates and the Foundation Stone of the Rockhampton Hospital on the Canning Street site. Both of thse objects may now be seen in the front garden at the museum. |
