Description The President of the Australian Country Hospital Heritage Association Inc. addresses guests at the commencement of a function to mark the completion of a new sandstone fence in front of the Country Hospital Museum at the Rockhampton Heritage Village. The fence, built by Village staff and volunteers, incorporates the Sandstone Gates originally part of the Canning Street fence at the Rockhampton Hospital. This fence and gates had been built in 1935 using a bequest left to the Hospital by Rockhampton citizen and leader Mr G. F. Sandrock.
