Description The photograph shows a group of four nursing sisters two of whom had retired and two who were about to retire at a social function at the Capricorn Motel in Rockhampton. They are (L to R) Ada (Kit) Walters (née Deane) (Rockhampton Hospital), Norah Crowe (née Hogan) (Matron Eventide), Vida Bedford) (Maternal and Child Welfare) and Ivy H. M. Baker (Rockhampton Hospital). According to the caption the nurses had given a total of 180 years of service to the nursing profession and were in the process of making a pact to meet annualy for dinner.
