| Description | The photograph shows Sister Ivy Baker and Sister Alma Collins with an unidentified nurse at the Rockhampton Hospital ca. 1950. Sister Baker commenced general nure training at the Rockhampton Hospital on 27 Sep 1926 and completed on 26 Sep 1930. She served at the hospital for 42 years until she retired in 1968, serving as Deputy Matron on a number of occasions. Sister Collins commenced training on 10 May 1926 and completed on 09 May 1930. She held the position of Matron between 1952 and 1956. |
