Description The photograph shows Sister Ivy Baker at the Rockhampton Hospital ca. 1930. Ivy Baker commenced a four year training course at the Rockhampton Hospital on 27 September 1926 and then went on to complete a midwifery qualification at the Lady Goodwin Hospital which was opened in 1930. She then served at the Rockhampton Hospital until her retirement in 1968. She held the position of Deputy Matron on many occasions.
