| Description | Matron Edna May Weber and Sister Iris Pollard are shown in the garden of the Muttaburra Hospital ca. 1937. Edna May Weber had trained at the Rockhampton Hospital between 28 December 1925 and 20 December 1930 while Iris Pollard trained there between 15 June 1931 and 14 June 1935. Edna Weber served as Matron of the hospital from early 1936 until mid-1940 at which time she resigned in order to enlist to serve in World War 2. |
