Description The former Mt Morgan Hospital Nurses' Quarters was originally built as a Matron and Sisters' Quarters and was used to house nursing staff at the hospital. When it was no longer required, the building was donated to the Australian Country Hospital Heritage Association and is now fully refurbished. The new Country Hospital Museum was officially opened on 21 November 2009. This is a photograph of the front of the building on the day of the opening.The building houses a range of displays depicting the operation of an early 20th century hospital.
