Description | The Doctor's room at the Country Hospital Museum is set up with a number of historic furniture items. The desk on the right was originally used by Matron Maud Green at the Rockhampton Hospital from 1930 - 1940. The examination table was donated by Dr Whaites Sen, an ophthalmologist who practised in Rockhampton for many years. The table was manufactured in America in 1906. Other equipment includes a stethoscope and a microscope. |
